Cascia's devices are preparation and cell delivery technologies designed to enhance the performance of the cells.  When cells are used to regenerate diseased or damaged tissue, they exert their effects in the microenvironment where they are implanted.  It is necessary to ensure that:

• A therapeutic quantity of early stage cells are delivered to the correct location

• The cells are viable and ready to proliferate

A key initiative for Cascia is to deliver patient-customized implants already impregnated with stem cells that are bioprinted in the operating room at the time of treatment.  Using the latest in bioprinting and laser-curing techniques, we have the ability to not only rapidly prepare cells with our ActivCell process, but to use patient imaging and other information to print a implant containing those cells within minutes.
